Sauvie Is Goose station

1. Some of you remember how they manned the Sauvie Islang check station last year even though the goose season was closed.
2. Some of you may remember how it acted as a sting operation for hunters who didn't know the season was closed.
3.Some of you remember how the interviewed State Official was so amused at how they busted hunters who thought they were legal but made a honest mistake when they stopped at the station to check their birds.

Well, as I was leaving the island yesterday I looked over my shoulder as I crossed the bridge and saw a vehicle typically parked behind the trailer in the usual spot. the season closed last week.
If they were going to waste my tax dollars for their own anusement why don't they have the guy make a sign that notifys the hunters that the season is closed. They could place it at the base of the bridge where they place signs for corn mazes, flowers and produce. This would prevent the mistakes in the first place.
