My tuna partner was in Depoe yesterday putting his Seasport in the water. He was talking to the charter guys at dockside. All the charter boats had limits of chinook, all decent sized fish. Word is they were "biting stupid." Marty also said he could see the stick boats from shore.

One of my techs was at Lincoln City this week and he said he could see the trollers working off shore. Do Salmon come from the North or do they come from the South? Actually I guess they probably come from the ocean.

There must have been at least 30-40 commercial trollers outside of Depoe last night when I drove thru. I figured when I saw all the out-of-towners trolling out there that something must have been going on.

I was thinking about trying salmon on Saturday. I heard Coho will be open. I have not verified that yet.

If I go out of Depot Bay where do I find the fish? Or should I just look for all the boats?
