Default Full choke, slugs???

I have a old but very nice winchester model 12 and a new england 410 ga shotguns, both in full choke.
Is it safe to shoot slugs out of them?
Will shooting slugs out of a full choke shotgun do harm to the barrel?
Would you shoot slugs out of a full choke?
What do you think?

A M12 is a collector gun and should be retired, it's been years since I used my M97. Get a slug barrel on a newer gun and use it.

KF - I have shot factory 1 oz. slugs thru an old JC Higgins (Hi-Standard?) 12 ga. full choke pump with no problem.

Also, used to have an old Coast-to-Coast (also Hi-standard?) .410 full choke pump gun and tested 1/5 oz. slugs thru it. Less accurate than the 12 ga........

Now I have a Rem. 870 12 ga. pump w/Hastings Paradox rifled slug bbl. & iron sights. Deadly!
