Default Suttle Lake Report

I took my daughter to Suttle Lake today for a morning on the lake. We fished for Kokes and managed to catch a few. The action was slow. There are lots of fish but only around 8 to 9 inches and smaller. We finally started catching them in 63 feet of water near the slow bouy's toward the North end. I don't know if it was the pink or green Gibbs minnow or the corn with Marie's Shrimp Scent on it that did the trick but we
caught fish. It beat staying at the house and they will be good eating.

I had the same success last weekend. Fish seem to be stacked up by the mouth of link creek. We need the water to warm a little before they go on the aggressive bite. I hope to go back this weekend. See you there? Green North River...Rip

I was fishing there on tuesday. It was fairly slow fishing, four people caught a total of 21 kokanee and all were about the same size at about 9" Alot smaller than they were last year. We were jigging in water 30 feet deep. Buzz bombs and plain bait and hook seemed to work the best. There were only a couple other boats on the lake. Good luck.
