Default Fish cam Trifecta!

Here is a pic of a carp, a springer, and many shad. Let's see how many multi-species shots we can catch

I wonder why that carp is migrating up the ladder? I can just see him thinking; "Dang, must be some good eats where all these guys are heading, I think I'll follow them and see what all the comotion is about!"

Someone posted another "carp in the cam" picture earlier this month. Is it possible that carp have learned to follow the migrating fish knowing that fresh eggs will soon be available? Pellet heads quickly learn that certain sounds and/or events fortell the dinner bell. Carp are a heck of a lot smarter than hatchery trout.

I work it the other way. Often, I have observed a big smallmouth following a group of carp as they root in the shallows; he probably hoping that they'll spook a crawdad or the like. I try to make sure that he finds one; well at least a plausible substitute.
