Default I love springers!! w/pics

It's been a tough season for springers this year
but with patience, determination and quality bait
almost every trip has produces some quality chromers.
A good presentation has been the key to success.

It's nice to hook into such large fish just minutes away
from millions of people. Sometimes the crowds are a
little frustrating but in the end it pays off big time.

We've fished most of the local portland rivers and
caught fish on all of them. Mostly backtrolling or back
bouncing eggs, sandshrimp and wiggle warts to catch these
fish.

This springer season will likely slow down when the
hot weather comes but there will still be some nice fish
in the tribs well into July.

Of course I have to give a huge thanks to Grant and Scott
for all of the helpful hints and tips. Thanks guys!

I probably doubled my catch from all the advice these guys
give me. It's nice to know some of the best salmon and
steelhead fisherman on the west coast.

I know I'm not throwing up limits or near limits almost every
trip but some day

Well done Premo, I can hardly remember my last springer and you seem to slay them. Were all these caught the same day or week?

Gotta love that native, even thought it had to be cut looses.
