SECOND SEASON TRASK ELK

Ok, I am going to be hunting the second season, spike only, hunt up in the Trask unit here in a couple of weeks. I hunted up there a few years ago for the first season and did not see any bulls. The only area that I know is the area around Barney Resevoir. I am wondering how folks did durring the first season? Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated!

I know of the location of a couple spikes but you will have to sign a legal document saying you won't hunt black tails there...

No bet they will be there in a week either.

I know what canyon Gus hunts in (and I use the word "hunt" loosely

) I can direct you there and not even make you sign a wavier as I dont hunt the area anymore. :tongue: :tongue: :tongue:
