Any one have the contact info for Douglas Ridge. I am interested in joining, need a place to go work up Handloads and also do a little trap shooting.

Marty - I dont have their number but I know there is another range about a mile or 2 past Douglas on the same side of the HWY that I have shot at in the past. They only have a 100 yd range but I have shot their in the past and it was nice. I was invited out as a friend of a friend when I shot and think it is cheaper to belong to than Douglas but I havent checked into it yet.

I am wanting to join a club also that I can shoot at with my kids. I got a new gun for my boy and he will want to shoot on a regular basis come Christmas.

Roy, that is Estacada gun club. I shot out there three times this year working up loads. I really liked it but like you said all they have is the 100 yard rifle range and the pistol range. I am looking for a place I can practice with my shotgun also. Estacada was only about $80 for initiation and then annual dues were like $40. I dont remember for sure. Douglas ridge was like $200 for first year and initiation then abou $80 for annual dues. Both of them require 8 hours of work a year also.

What gun did you end up getting your boy? I

I looked up Douglas Ridge and called them. 503-631-8160

$100 initiation
$65 per year
$25 per year for the first 3 years (not sure why they broke this out
Must be NRA member :depressed:
Can either volunteer 8 hours per year, or pay $70
any additional family members are $5 a year

I talked to a buddy who joined the Estacada one and he was told his kid couldnt shoot because he wasnt 16 :depressed: Douglas Ridge told me no problem on my kid shooting. It sounded like they have several ranges to shoot at.

The Estacada rod and gun club number is 503-241-4214 I tried to call and got message machine.
