My .2 cents - Spoke today with a fellow that hunted Sauvie's east side this week, only 17 hunters out all day and it was near a bust.
From my years of hunting Vanc. Lake, the only water is in the channels and the big donut with this low water. For me it's a NOT until we get a bunch of rain. Sounds like if Sauvie isn't getting birds, Vanc. Lake is at the bottom of the pile. Find some grouse or fish to chase until we get rain. Not trying to sound negative but that's the facts, bummer I know.

Kaus-
I figured that was gonna be the verdict. Im probably gonna hunt ridgefield refuge tomorrow but my buddy has to work and he wanted to go hunting on sunday so thats why i was asking. I just thought that maybe there would be an increase of birds in the area because of the cold weather up north. But then again vancouver lake will probably be their last resort! Thanks for the reports.
