Default I hate Murphies Law

Ok..............we are very lucky. Some birds are working our spot. What a wonderful time to fall into a slump with your shooting. If we keep it up much longer we will not need our shotguns as the birds will be laughing themselves to death. A whole club of Keystone Cops! :depressed: :depressed: :depressed: :depressed:

Anybody else getting some shooting? The public land around us is almost totally quite.

Ahhh! But when you get reverse
Murphy's law it's so cool. Everyone else decides to sleep in or chase dark Chinooks because it's gonna be bluebird weather and you go to the pond and limit in 15 minutes all by yourself. (But you still almost go through a box of ammo)

Hey Tilla

Glad your out there. I can't hear you guys where we are so was wondering if they where in that millett. We can't make heads or tail of whats going on as they are not hitting the sweetcorn or the volunteer grass stuff next to our back lakes. Yet, they are pouring in there at night and after we spook them off in the mornings they come back a few at a time.
Real bad news is we have four of the five dogs out with eye problems. Darn seeds are really getting in their eyes. Vet bills will put those guys on easy street this year. Sounds like your bird to shell ratio isn't where you like it either but it can't be as bad as ours. Good grief I'm going to have to go back to some cheap shells at this rate. Yes, its nice to see the "fair-weather" guys still out chasing fish.
Are you getting the large flights of pintails over your way? I can't believe my eyes at the size of the bunches setting up to the decoys. Lots of juveniles that aren't wise to whats down there waiting for them.
