I finely made it on the water. After an epic battle with trailer light plug(why can't people wire these things right? Seems like they where playing musical wires), we headed for the river. We arrived to find about 15 empty boat trailers. We dumped the boat in the water and fired off and ran very well. We hit the first hole in hopes of finding a gator or two, but ended up with a few lite bites. We moved to another hole and again found the bite to be very slow. My wife and father in-law where getting some good bites. After a short while, the father-in-law boats a shaker. And then the wifes rod takes a dive, the another and another. She sets the hook and the fight was on.

After a short battle we boated and released a nice fat 46" gator. Aside from a few other bites that was all the action we had. The wind was blowing which made it a little bumpy but over all everone had a good time.
