So what blind did you get into? Your dog actuallly let you put her in the pit! wow, my dog always looks at me like hell no, whenever i try to put her in a pit blind. I noticed while i was down there the other day that there seemed to be a lot of pintails in the area. Did you have to lay off on them and watch them land in the deeks? Well I'm glad to hear your boy had such a great time! But your right, its not always gonna be 70 degrees and sunny! lol!

If any of you SW WA folks want to show a newbie around Ridgefield, let me know. I have been out there scouting and have checked it out on a couple hunt days to get a feel for how things are run. I have seen the harvest statistics and they look decent if you can get in a good blind (what's new).

Anyway, if you have any OR license I will trade for a tour of Sauvie if interested.

PM me if you are up for it.

I also scouted out Shillapoo and Vanc Lake. Not much water at Shillapoo and Vanc. Lake looks like it would draw every wacko in the area.
