I stopped by at Clackamette park on Monday after work and watched the bankies for about an hour. The water was still very murky (less than a ft of vis) and I didn't see or hear of any shad being caught.

went out in my boat from 9-12pm today. Picked up 15 on dick nites. Tried Red/White, Brass, and chartruse/white. 11 of the 15 on the Chartruse/white. Water is a bit clearer than on Saturday. Also saw a couple other boats picking them up consistently. Go for it!!

We were in the Oregon City area yesterday afternoon for about 3 hours. Using a brass barrel swivel with a siwash hook we landed about 30 or so. We never went more that 5 or 10 minutes without a fish. We were across the river form Clackamette Park. You should have no trouble getting shad. The current is pretty strong so plan using quite a bit of anchor rope.

It's true stzII had them on pretty consistant, was anchored beside him for a bit and got tired of watching him catch fish so had to move. Had swivel with hook and couple beads and wasn't doing very well. Tons of line bumps, but few takers.

I went Wednesday and killed em. Chartruse jigs and shiny dick nights seemed to do the trick.
