Default .41 Mag Question

Any of you folks use a .41 magnum revolver for hunting? If so, what kind of load are you using? 210, 250 or 265 grain?

If you do use this caliber, what have you taken with it?

Thanks for any info.

Default Re: .41 Mag Question

I would use the heaviest LBT(lead bullet technologies) Wide Flat Nose I could get my hands on.

Verl Smith in Idaho used to make them. I think his wife is still carrying on the tradition.

H-110 or W-296 wide open loads with either of these powders seem to work best.

I have not personally killed any big game with a handgun, but the above formula will spell success in any North American game.

Mark and the Ross Seyfried is right dog.
