So whats the report on the Oversize fishing at Bonneville?
Anyone been up there and how has it been?

It's closed, Beacon Rock to Bonneville to let the big ones spawn. Check the regs.

Stevo...yes it is closed above Beacon Rock, but the oversize fishing can still be very good below the deadline. When fishing shad on the bottom you might be suprised how many locations will produce oversize. Of course the closer to the dam you get the better it is, but you can also find them in decent number from Camas to Cape Horn as they move up to spawn.

Oversize sturgeon get going on such a feeding frenzy this time of year, sometimes they can become a pain in the ars

Good

I know it's been said before, but use HEAVY tackle. I built my oversize stick, "The Stump Puller" to get 'em to the boat fast & release 'em!! . I can dead lift a 25# anchor with that stick!!!!

I've seen 'em floatin' dead down by 205 ..Treat 'em rough & quick... Sounds like a girl I used to.....never mind
