I've never seen so many deer in such a short period of time, without seeing a horn. Over the weekend I saw about 25 does/fawns. You'd think that with that many deer I would have to see something! I guess not. Last weekend just wasn't my time. I'll lay off the lottery for a while, but next weekend I have another trick up my sleeve: My doe tag kicks in! :shocked: They think they can waltz around in front of me like that, uh huh not anymore, after their prancing around and teasing me, I'm gonna give em a dirt nap.
Fishunter2: Did you hunt up on Buckley's clearing again, see the elk? How'd you do. Drop an e-mail or something.

Winterkill, only walked the edge above my house one evening after work. Not much sign seen. The elk are on the other side of the river. My doe tag is for scappoose so I will be spending more time on Buckleys later.
