SW WA Ducks...
As I prepare to purchase my first WA hunting license as a new resident...I have some questions regarding the 3 primary hunting areas in Clark County.
Ridgefield...is it a giant cluster $#@% like Sauvie? From what I can see on the map, the blinds look well spaced for an area that big. (For those that haven't seen it, there are only 21 blinds in this part of the refuge. The area is significantly larger than any of the units on the east side of Sauvie). I have been looking at the harvest results and such and that gives me a good picture of what to expect. Looks like the numbers are consistent (1.8 birds per hunter) with the result from Sauvie. Yes it looks like the pound the spoonies pretty hard. (30% of total harvest). Does anyone have any good info that would be willing to share with me? I am willing to trade for trip to Sauvie if you have an OR license. PM me if you are interested.
Also does anyone hunt Shillapoo or Vancouver Lake?
Thanks again for any info.
