Ducks and licenses

Over the years I stop at the 7-11 in Linton on my way to Sauvies Island. I usually just get coffee or snacks. It is usually around 4:30 AM & 5AM. There is usaully a line of hunters buying licenses. I went out to pheasant hunt and when I went to buy my tag I was told they can't sell them untill 7:15am. Just want to warn those looking to pickup last minute tags and licenses that I will be hunting for about an hour while your waiting.

Just heard back from the state of Oregon Point of license Agent trainer and said they would be all over it prior to opening day. Point of sale licenses go on sale at 4am.

A special thanks to Nancy Foley of Point of sale License Agent for the state of Oregon. She talked to the owner of the store and told them to turn the machine on at 4am and make sure they are trained to use it. They have a 1-800 # for them to call 24 hrs for help.

Isn't Nancy a great Lady? She does this stuff all the time. Doesn't matter who you are, she helps.

Nancy is great and if anyone has a problem she gets all over it and keeps in constant contact untill issue is resolved. We need more State employee's like her.
