Default question about duck hunting

i purchased a little 15 ft aluminum boat and just finished camoing it and putting armaplating on the floor now i just need help in finding out what the rules for hunting the tidewater of the trask and the wilson are. One, i do not want to make any fisherman mad early in the season and two there are alot of farm animals around and i do not want to tic off any farmers. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. The synopsis has nothing in it about my question.

Fishlis 1,

Tidewater of those rivers would be tough with fishermen. No room for steel flying. The sloughs weaving around Tillamook Bay are all open to hunters. Some are better then others I am told. You just have to explore! Good Luck !

Just remember to oil the gun up real good before you go.
Consider the tides. We used a driftboat to search out a place and then hunted from float tubes.

You can hunt anywhere down there to my knowledge, We go almost every year.. It is the hardest hunting for ducks you'll ever do. To be effective plan on 4-6 decoy moves in an 8 hour hunt. Keep a close eye on your boat and do not go out there without a very tough dog! I wouldn't reccomend going without a dog. Wind the wind in howling every retrive can be 80yds plus, combine that with a rip tide and the weak dogs get weeded out. Chasing them across those flats in your boat is a great way to lose a prop. That all said it can be a hoot on the right days.

Depends on where u go. Weekends it generally is, but not that bad during the week. Have any of you guys ever hunted yaquina or around waldport. I have a Chesepeke that absolutely loves hunting in the ocean willing to trade hunts.
