The same thing happened last year. Then the storms from Alaska cooled off the water. Remember we had water so cold that it created the dead zone off Florence for several weeks??? TUNA dream on....

I would be more concerned about this weekend. It looks like a blowout. Not only is there a big storm coming from Alaska the one in Montana hasn't moved off East yet. It could cause the Alaska storm to linger for a while. Oh well make up days in June. Better weather anyway...

9 feet at 5 seconds. Sounds like suicide to me.

It does not look good for the weekend.

John, I'll keep it quiet. I heard you now have a top secret crypto clearance and you fly around the world in an Evergreen Aviation black radar reflecting painted Gulfstream...

Sensei- I have that print of The Great Wave by Hokusai on my wall. One of my favorites!

And the buoy is up over 16 feet now. Woo-Hoo.

Hmmm what can we infer from this plot of wind speed vs barometric pressure?

I think key west (Dean Right?) is feeling all warm and fuzzy because he cant go out with the gas thing so it is better for him to see these big seas. That way he wont feel as bad.
