Greetings: I have been away from IFISH for sometime and was not aware of the hunting site. Its great.

Just getting my gear ready for deer and elk season and found some excellent checklists on the net. Took the best and added a few of my own suggestions.

Let me know if you have additions. I will keep track and post again with an update if people are interested.

Cagey,

Do you just take a regular off-the-shelf snakebite kit, or do you add to it?

Wow, that was some list.

Nice list. I am using it in part to prepare for my Trout Creek Hunt.
Another item one should make sure and keep with them is either a water purifier or iodine tabs. It sucks to run out of water!

One more to add: surveyers tape to mark a blood trail.
