Finally got around to taking a picture of my first blacktail buck. I had to have my daughter in the pic because she is really taking to this hunting with her old man. I remember when she was about 2 and I got this buck she had to be right by my side while I skinned this buck out in the garage. It got me thinking back when my dad used to take me out before I could pack a rifle, we made alot of good memories hunting. I learned alot from him and how to hunt the right way and be safe. Any way this was a buck that I'm real proud of and had to have a friend of mine help me mount it. There is nothing like the first deer or elk that a person gets. I hope to pass this along to my children the same way my dad and grandfather did.
Shoot ya thats one nice looking buck. :shocked: If only more kids got into hunting and being in the woods and stayed away from drugs Good luck hunting, go drop a big one. :grin:
