Default Shad-any ideas

Anybody notice year to date shad count over Bonny is 74 and upstream of Bonny at the Dalles Dam it is 5,467???
Does anybody know how they count fish at Bonny or if they have a type of math no is yet aware of?

Yes, I have heard that some fish pass through the locks, but in this case nearly 99% of the shad over the Dalles had to sneak through the Bonny locks. Wonder if 99% of the salmon sneak through the Bonny locks?

Actually, it's about 98.5% of shad that would be goin' through the locks at Bonneville!
Also, if the salmon were going through the locks at Bonnie, they would show up at The Dalles right?

The next compact meeting is 10:00 AM Tuesday May 17, 2005.
I think that the 18th would be the soonest we could fish steelhead & shad in the C R but I doubt that's gonna happen. :depressed:
