Default pigeon trapping question

I recently made a pigeon trap with one way doors, I have left the doors open to try to let the birds get comfy with the cage but none have came in yet, I'm using yellow kernel corn out of a can and corn grit in a metal pie pan but them haven't seemed real interested yet, anyone have any experience with a food they prefer or any tips to get them in the cage. thanks ya'll. I would skip the pie tin and spread the food out so they can see it, also make sure you leave a trail leading them into the cage. This has worked for me.

I use a large salmon net under the patio feeders, where they like to congregate...takes a few days for them to get used to the net hanging over their heads, but they eventually don't mind. I have some tuff line from the bottom of the net back into the house and looped on the patio door so I can trip it through the door crack without them seeing me...I've caught up to four at a time that way. Keep them in a dog kennel until we go out training...

its a new feed, its called #7.5 or #8 remington, winchester, and fedal and a few more all make it. They sell it by the box or by the case. The price is any were from $2.50 a box to $30.00 a case. I think that you should look into it.
