My friend just picked one up. I will post with the results of his week long trip east. the decoy looks great out in the woods.

No offense guys, but do you really think that a poacher cares if it is bow season? :shocked:

I would be veeerrrryyy careful with one of these.

During the rut though, I can't see why they wouldn't work like a charm.

I have heard way to many scary stories about road hunter shooting at decoys. Just ask the OSP.

Good point small fry....but I believe most guys are using them for archery and set up a good distance from them. They are mainly used as a distration tool. To keep that bulls mind on that and not you! They get a little leary after hearing a cow call and not seeing anything around...

I went out bow hunting with my old man. He was bow hunting and was using a decoy of a elks a$$ and well, I was just waiting for something to go fly/shooting thought the decoy :shocked: . I would think that they would work with a cow call but if he smells you, even the best decoys will not work.

My buddy did not have much luck this last week. He said the decoy never left his pack. He feels the weather in Eastern OR needs to cool down.
