Deschutes Boaters Pass Info

Can anyone tell me if their have been any changes to the boaters pass system on the Deschutes?

Primarily Lone Pine to Macks Canyon.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Lone Pine? Maybe Pine Tree. If you are floating the river below the falls the only big change is you cant't buy a pass on line this year. The Prineville BLM site has a list of venders (who tack on a fee). I have been getting my pass at Dinty in Biggs.

... and BTW, doesn't it chap your hide that the BLM changed the name of Lone Pine to "pine tree"? I think that happened about 10 years ago.
