21# of Line Burnin Love (pic)

Had the opportunity to hit the river with an ifish buddy today and boy was it a nice day. We had a Fish-On at about 6:15 and played it with tender-loving-care. Those of you who have hooked and lost a springer know what I'm talking about. It seems like the virtue is just zapped right out of ya when you have to wave good by to one of these beauties. But with a bit of grace fom above

and some old fashioned good luck we put her in the net

. Once in hand we proceeded to extend the traditional welcome

and invited her to dinner

She was 21lbs. of line burnin love with plenty of sealice to boot. We had grins on our faces for the rest of the day and full bellies to follow. Springer in the freezer is like GOLD in the bank! What a great day!!

The student has become the teacher. You have learned well young Grasshopper! Congrats on a nice fish & way to find the honey hole.

That will produce fish year round. Keep posting those pics as I'm fishing vicariously through you guys.

There is a funny poem/joke with Timbuk2 as the punch line. Are you fimiliar with it? I can't recall the whole thing but do remember that it was very funny.
