I think I'd better get a set of those Chenille, those look like a great summer steelhead jig...

From a fly tyer standpoint, your jigs are the best around...you use top notch material and hooks...some people buy the cheap jigs to save a buck, but when their hook breaks or they dont hook a fish they start wishing they had spent an extra buck for a First Cast jig.

The top three or four jigs for this time of year varies depending on what species you're fishing for and also what condition the water is. Low and clear water for summer steelhead I prefer darker patterns. I also do well with pink/white patterns, especially since the water temperature is still cool.

I use a Kodak 3.1 mega pixel digital camera for all my pictures. Lighting is a major factor for sharp pictures.

Here are some of my favorite chenille jigs for summers:

Thanks for the compliments. The heavy wire Owner jig hooks I use are chemically sharpened and needle-sharp. They stay that way fish after fish. Guide's in Alaska have caught over thirty salmon on one jig before the feathers start to unravel. That is a true test to the quality of our jigs.

Are you located in North Plains? I work close by and would love to just come by and pick some up in case I can get out this weekend, any chance that would be an option?

Sorry I didn't get back to you. I was watching my son get his lacrosse shorts ripped in half by some kid from Liberty.

Fisherkid

Wow what a coincedence. My son just shrugged his shoulders and tucked in enough of his shorts so he could keep playing. That was a great game today.
