Tracker,
Good luck in Neah Bay. Please give us a report on the bounty. I will be headed down to Florida this weekend for 10 days. Plan to do some tarpon and other "exotic" fishing. In the mean time, the OuterLimits will be down for maintenance, installing the aux fuel tank, Navman Fuel Flow meter, etc., so that I will be ready for the Tuna action later this summer.

Did I hear an earlier post that you got your Outriggers, if so, what manufacture and model??

Thanks for the offer. If I wasnt spending every waking minute getting the final things done to my boat Id jump on that in a minute.
Can you get a Canadian license in the US? Whats the cost? Id really like to do that trip with you sometime.
Best of luck to you and your crew, Be sure and post how you do!

Canadian License has to be picked up in Canada right now. They are working on getting it available over the internet.

Saturday I will be shrimping on the hood canal and have a full load. Going to have the bar b que going and grilling the tasty things as they come out of the water. Also grilling some fresh halibut (of course assuming I catch some). Man taste bud are on overtime just thinking about it.

Yes I just got my outriggers yesterday. I got the Taco Sport slam kit out of Offshore Angler with 15' riggers. Would like to have had the 18' but the cost went up considerably because it did not come in a kit. In looking at them they seem very well made. The adjustable bracket that holds the poles is very heavy duty. Now I just have to find time between fishing and work to get them installed.

Where about in the canal will you be? I'm in Quilcene and am gonna play on the water in the afternoon to shake everything out for Neah Bay on Sunday. Maybe I'll see you around. Will you be up by me or further down South?

I will be straight across from you in Dabob bay. Well maybe a bit south at the head of the bay. There is some type of old Naval station that has a large cable that runs out into the bay. I am in a 2601 striper with the same logo on the side as you see in my posts. Salty dog burgee will be flying along with old glory. I should have the bar b que up and going also. So watch for that. Unless we limit real early I should be there until the closing at 1pm. Come on by and I may have a spare shrimp or two cooking.
