Anyone up for a clay shoot at Sauvie...?

Just a random idea that might be fun given Dove season is only 5 weeks away. If you haven't shot out there before it is on the west side about a half mile past where the pavement ends. Steel shot only and you have to bring your own traps or hand throwers.

Let me know if anyone is interested or knows where to get cheap steel upland loads. (I have found PMC steel upland in #7.5 and 8's at fisherman's and a friend picked up a case of steel Federal upland loads from Walmart once.)

Clays are usually about $5 for a 100 or so and hand throwers are cheap.

Another idea would be to set something up with the Sherwood Gun Club (i forget what it is called, but it is in Sherwood). Anyone have any connections there or be willing to help set this up.

Just FYI they have one of these same types of areas out at vancouver lake. If you want I could go after work in the morning one day next week if you have a launcher. I don't have my sauvies stuff yet.
