Default new puppy-a love/hate relationship

Just got 8 week old pup in yesterday. She is out of a line breeding of Maxx and Super Powder.I have two other labs,13 and 7 1/2.
I forgot the pleasures of puppyhood. But there are drawbacks, therefore the title of the thread.
love:new puppy smell(not smells,as in "accidents")
hateuppy breath(hide the kitty litter box?)
loveotential
hate:barking/whining all night(I can never wake up my 20 year old son,but she got him up a 3am-maybe that's a good thing)
love:7 1/2 year old lab running around the yard
being an 8 week old puppy herself
Well that should get the ball rolling.

Yep, digging holes in the lawn, eating my shoes and carrying the water bowl around with water in it, oh what fun. My puppy is now 3 months old. Love him/ hate him you got it.

7 weeks into our puppy adventure...

1. Love: the wagging tail.
2. Hate: Too many teeth marks on my arms/hands to count.
3. Love: The cute poses while napping.
4. Hate: the digging
5. Love: 20#s of wet puppy comin' out of the water.

I am sure I could go on for a long time, but I thought I would kick in my two cents. As far as I am concerned it is VERY worth it.

We have a batch of Lab puppies on the way. Should be born on the 29th, hunting and or show, we hope the show part. They'll be small, as the mom is 20 1/2" tall @ 63#'s and the dad @ 73 #'s and 22 1/2" tall. If you are looking, keep us in mind come the middle of Sept. Both parents hunt pheasants and ducks and come from quality lines. They are the english style, short, boxy and beaver tails. Both have 'Good', hips and elbows.

Labs are a wonderful breed. Ilove that they belong to someone else and I hate the fact that they have at least a two year puppy stage, but I love that after they get over that they are hands down the finest hunting partner you can ask for. The first pheasent I shot was because of a super one eyed lab named shad. This dog was so cool and he new I was an idiot from the git go but was still kind enough to retreve the bird I shot from the pond it was flying over at the time. I mis not being able to have dogs but I dont miss alot of the other stuff especialy having to say goodbye. Goddluck to everyone with your puppy projects and good hunting!
