Almost fished today ( Pic's)

Well I got up at O dark thirty to find Yesterday's Snow had turned to Ice. So much for Sturgeon Fishing January 1st. Though there were a few Brave souls that made it out! Myself I did not want to try getting the boat back up the ramp. Here are some pictures of Chinook Landing at Noon today, and A Stuck boat and Truck on 223rd!

:shocked: I'd a been there too, if my truck wasn't in the shop, from an encounter with one of Portland's mad commuters.

But that's another story. Hope it was worth it to the diehards that made it out.

I must be a real wussy...Just looking at those pics gives me chills.

I was planning on going but, I got an invite from my neighbor to a small (6-8 people) new years eve party, once I saw what the weather was going to do the decision was easy. Good food, good people, good games(Mexican Train Dominos) good(plenty)drink. Get up late yesterday go have a nice breakfast, come home sit by the wood stove and watch movies.

I was one of the foolish fisherman to venture out on new years day. That is my super duty, 3rd truck from the right. The fishing was slow. We took out at about 2pm and the ramp was pretty clear by then. It had warmed up enough that it wasnt much of a problem. The drive home on the other hand was a little scary!! I only live a short distance away but it was foolish to venture out in this stuff!!!
