Default Brookings fishing ?

I posted this over on the main board, but thought that maybe someone over here may have some ideas...

I'll be spending this Sat - Mon in Brookings/Harbor and was wondering if there are any jetties or bank fishing spots around that area. Can't do a full day thing because of family commitments, but I'd like to spend 2 or 3 hours on the water. Anybody have any idea's ?

Thanks,
Matt

Default Re: Brookings fishing ?

I visited Brookings this past Thanksgiving. We stayed at the Holiday Inn, Brookings Harbour. A great surf fishing beach is right outside your window. At the harbour its self, there's a jetty with what appeared to be very nice fishing fishing access. Do a yahoo or google search for the area. They have nice web sites with good information and maps.
good luck
