Boat U.S. has just put out a consumer affairs guide, “Buying and Selling a Boat, a Guide to Marine Service.” Unlike buying a car the guide explains what to look for when buying a new or used boat, such as manufacturing standards, surveys and sea trials. Also discussed are warranties, federal documentation, isometric blistering, insurance, loans, and much more. Looks like a pretty good reference to have.
