Default Bonneville counts-Saturday???

Anyone have any idea what the fish count was yesterday. The fish cam was down most of the day and they dont have a count. Do they not work on Saturdays and if not doesnt that throw off the count?

It is weird how they come over the dam. I have been watching off and on for the last couple of hours and only one or two every once in awhile. Then at 7 PM schools of them start coming over and almost every refresh has fish in it. It seems like most of the fish cross between 7 and 10PM. Its almost like they have an internal clock.

It seems they don't update the website on Sundays. Both days should be updated tomorrow. Could it be the fish wait until dusk to swim through the ladder?

If I had a 450 lb seal waiting for me to swim into its mouth, I would try to sneak by after dark. Wouldn't you!

LOL!

New for 2005 - April 1st, 2005
The adult fish counting stations at Bonneville, John Day and The Dalles projects are using a new counting system to record and report fish counts. The new system will help improve count reporting by removing the human data entry steps previously used when storing the counts after they are submitted by the fish counters.

What is funny is The Dalles had 4208 go over when Bonni has not had a count bigger than 3656 something must have got all the fish in this pool going fast.

Warmer water in the pool behind the dam might make them feel like moving faster.

They probably know they are late for an important date too.
