Default Big Muley (world record?)

I have just received an email from a friend with a picture of a mule deer attached. The caption says "48 inches and it is waiting to be scored as the new B&C world record". It was shot in fall of 2000. Has anyone else seen this? Is it a hoax? I beleive it is. I have bet with my boss that it is not real. I am convinced that the picture has been computer enhanced. Besides who would mount their deer before having it scored, especially if it may be a world record.
If this is old news I apologize for being so far behind the times. Any help on proving this to be a hoax would be greatly appreciated. (just love to prove the boss wrong  )

Seen the same pic, last year. I was told that it was a wooden hand-carved rack!!! Unbelievable, isn't it! Absolutely monstrous.

somebody send me a link...to the pic or email it to me... sjohnson@pacificoffice.com
I believe he will have trouble proving anything post-mount.

Rogue is right. I've seen the same picture and it is carved from wood. Very nicely done and very realistic, but it's not real!

somebody did send me the pic and I must say it looks big. My question is, why is the guy wearing a White-tail T-shirt. I don't know many Muley hunters who would wear a White-tail T-shirt. If you asked the guy sitting in front of the buck to explain it, he'd say it was a 8 point. Any way , just kidding, I know we have Whiteys in oregon.
