Any more hunting reports?

Jay....I'm waiting on you! Hope it all went well. Anything to report?

I know Tilla went in search of the big birds a little while ago. Is anyone else having any turkey success? I've yet to nail a bird. Probably shouldn't have bought all three tags at the start of the season.

I'll be down in south this weekend though so we'll see.

Gotta put in for those controlled hunts too. DON'T FORGET!!!!

I've been waiting for your bear pictures. Lets see the results of your east hunt. I am still looking for a bird. Plan to go out this weekend and see what I can hit with the truck.

Just returning to reality again, hunted Pine Creek Unit for spring bears the 10th - 12th of May. Had a great time. Good camping, company, fishing. We got distracted from the bear hunting and really did'nt hunt that hard all the time. That would help explain why we didn't see any bears. Saw plenty of other game, including 11 of the nicest rams I've ever seen. Thanks for all the help on the bear hunting details birdhunter. You really gave us a big advantage over there. We heard of some bear sightings but we heard of no bears taken while we were there. Was good to meet your friends Scotty and Diane at their store in Pine Creek, nice folks. If they ever come this way let's take them fishing. I really envy their lifestyle. Peeled out of there a day early after one buddy bagged on me earlier than planned. Think he blistered his feet pretty bad on those sidehills. Used the day off to fish the channel yesterday and released a 20# native springer. :grin:
