Well
I was able to get out on the Lower Rogue the other day... and what a beautiful day it was.
My dad and FISHDAILY joined me.
Living in Coos Bay makes fishing springers on the Rogue tough... a 3:00 AM wakeup call is usually needed.
On the water and anchored up by 6AM... and we were set!
Breakfast was nice!
Nothing beats a river breakfast!
Saw a couple fish caught in the early AM, between 7-8AM
then it went dead!
36 boats and only 4 fish boated.
Abouot 630PM we had a screaming take down, everyone jumped up, dad grabbed the rod... and nothing! 12 hours of sitting for one take down and nothing to show for it!
Well, almost nothing,
we got our anchovy back!
overall a pretty slow day!
Not many fish, and a ton of boats... I am hoping for better things to come!
