Call the Northwest Springer Spaniel Club. You can speak with Jerry Light 503 591-5239 or Daryl Roth 541 258-8905. They have monthly bulletins on who is having litters, etc. Also, these pups are expensive, but they come from champion lines.

Hedgerow Kennel in Tangent/Albany.

I had a pup from one of their sire's. UNREAL dog. I have labs now, but in his prime he out-hunted every lab on land and water. Can't say enough about that dog, I miss him...

There is a vet in Cornellius who had an article written about him and his springer in Field and Stream. I can't, for the life of me, remember his name. He was the one who got me in touch with the people from whom I acquired my springer. Thereis also a reputable breeder on the Southern Oregon coast, Bandon, I believe.

You could check our web site, http://www.prostar.com/web/roselanee...c/wwessc1.htm. It's pretty long but I don't know how else to do it. This it the WWESSC site, with a number of links including Tom Radde's page with info on pups. I also think Ron Carver is going to have some soon. This would be a good breeding. Email if you want more info.

Hay King Fisher, are you a member of the Northwest club? Just wondering if we have ment before.

Beaver93 I know exactly what your saying on how you miss your dog.I miss my dog as well.He was a great hunter, companion, etc. That dog was the pick of the litter once upon a time, and the breeder wanted it back,in exchange for the next two picks. You see we used him for hunting, while the breeder wanted him for strictly show. This was a beautiful dog that could hunt.I can tell you there were plenty of times this dog ate steak for dinner while we had hamburger. He found plenty of fallen game. This is why I'm looking for a dog to try to take his place.May he be in a final resting place, with a large pasture, lake, and a basketball he liked to pop holes in. :depressed:
