tuesday newport

Was going to go out of Depoe but afternoon tide and restriction for 22 ft or less at 6.30 am was not a good sign so I went out of Newport
7 ft swell occassional 10 ft at about 9-10 seconds with 1 ft wind waves to start and 3 ft in the afternoon made for a bouncy day.
went 1 mile out and 1 mile south decided if the was fish here great if not I was not going to venture father and be put in jeopardy.
Ended up with 8 seabass 1 cab and 2 lings returned back to small.
It was nice to be on the salt again even though it was not the nicest day.

Thanks for the report, It's been been 7 months since I've been out myself, soon I'll be going out often, starting with the hali opener, But first a relaxing week at brownlee reservoir next week.
