Has anyone ever hunted up around hagg lake area for turkey. My uncle has seen some birds walk thru their property.they live above the lake aways

Last year I worked with the national turkey federation to try and relocate some birds planted up there 15 years ago. Never did find the birds. They are still around though. Locals see them now and then. Talk to the property owners. And watch out for cougars if you decide to go out turkey hunting around there. Last year there was a couple running around the area. Good luck. Myself, I would concentrate on another area.
