Default Kalama River

Anybody knows what the condition of the river is. I heard it was puking mud sunday. Wondering if its worth it to fish it tommorrow?

If you know where to cast, it could be productive.

I personally like a tad lower than normal winter flows for Kalama Salmon. Almost like fall flows... Right now I belive its a bit more than normal winter flows!

Most of the salmon holes will be ripping!

The good thing is maybe this high water will push the pesky smolts out to sea!

I fished it last Friday, when it was high, but still fishable. There was nothing going on.

Agree w/ Fast.....river should be a bit lower for best action.

The K-bam fishes best when dropping quickly.

Just came back down form up there. Water is still high. Looked like 6 or so drift boats put in this morning above modrow.
