Default Cajon Trip Prelude..... Heading to LA on Wednesday

Well, the time is drawing near to head back down to Venice, LA. as I did last year.

This is a very special trip with great memories from last year. This year I will be meeting my buddy Russ (RBG Fish) from Dallas who fishes up here in Oregon & Alaska with me whom I have corrupted for life and a friend from Kentucky whom I graduated from High School with.....

I thought I would share some of the memories from last year.... For information on the outfit I fish with, see my autosignature below for "Paradise Outfitters"

This truly was one of the best trips of my life and I am praying for good weather & calm seas for this weeks adventure.

Tight lines and may many springers keep your lines tight....

Heres to dreaming of Big Yellow Fin Tuna, Amber Jack, Grouper & Red Smapper

That looks like a blast! How far out do you have to go for the yellow fin?

Txaggie,

Last year we went 60- 80 miles.... We took a 24 hour trip so that allowed us to run far....

Just hope the weather is good.

Sounds like a pretty good run to get out to these fish. I can see why you're hoping for good weather!

Good luck out there and look forward to seeing some of your pics!

Have fun trip Terry. Does that mean you won't be here for the springer challenge? The trash talking just won't be the same.

Ya, no springer challenge this year....

We are going a couple weeks later this year so we have a shot at some of those 20# red snapper that we had to release last year....

SKP, I will get some Pic's of those awesome platforms for sure.... They have names for those things but only remember one (Medusa)..... That place down there is like a city on the water.

Truly remarkable and awesome structure for the fishies....

Have a great time at the Springer Challenge....
