Default Another Kicker Moutning Question

My new boat has a 25" transom...Old kicker is 20" shaft, so she cavitates in swells. I was wanting to avoid the expense of a new kicker, so does anyone have any mounting ideas? I have a splash well so I don't really want a welded kicker bracket (the ones I have seen extend 16" or better). I don't like the lift up/down ones either, and a Bay kit is not available for this motor. I was wondering if one of the hydraulic lifts have enough setback to allow operation of the kicker. Any ideas??

You would probably want the jack plate. They sit back 5 to 6". Mine is on the main motor to raise it. You would have to mount it prett low in the water to make it work.

I have the same problem, didn't like the aftermarket options--too flimszy, the expense of a custom made weld on was almost expense of jack plate--I'm going with the jack plate.
