Default Trying to understand

The rock Pile out of Newport is open to bottom fishing when all depth is not in play?

What is first all depth date for Halibut?

New boat ramp is the old one still operational or when I arrive will I have to figure out where the new one is?

Seal rock is south of Newport or Depoe?

No Canary's, No yellow eye,
2 lings 24 + in length and 8 or 10 bottom fish?
cabs are 16" min length?

These may sound like rudimentary questions but trying to keep up with all the regulations and trying to be lawful are my endeavors.

Planning a trip from Depoe Tuesday if ocean cooperates.

Yes it is for now, until june 1 I believe

First proposed all depth hali date may 12, 13,14

Can’t use the new one yet use the old one

Seal Rock is south of Newport

Only 2 lings and eight bottom fish

Yes 16'' on cabs

I was also told no bottom fish (lings, cabs whatever) if you have a halibut on the boat.

First all depth day May 12

Old ramp still being used new ramp is not yet open(as far as I am aware)

Seal Rock south of both Newprt and Depoe

No Canary's
No Yellow Eyes
Ling 24" min 2 per day
Cabbies 16" min
8 fish limit

No bottom fish allowed on board if you have halibut on board and vise versa,
no halibut if you have any bottomfish on board. You can go for one or the other but not both.
The only exception I believe is for sable fish.

The links are right from the ODFW site under fishing resources.

If you are headed to Seal Rock heading out of Newport would really cut down on the ride
time rather than heading out of Depoe. As far as the Rock Pile I have only been there from Newport.
But Newport would also cut down ride time to Stone Wall as well.

This link should get you to a chart set to Stone Wall Banks.

Look at the top of the board for the thread how to release and look at the release set up they have. Very simple to make and use and the thread will explain more than I can.
