Default Jeep ad may return - Peta

Peta is not willing to let this go. They are trying to flood the DiamlerChrysler with requests to return the ad.

DC ran that ad catering to the Bambi crowd. Now they have an ad with a twist on "wife-swapping". First PETA, now perverts. Same target audience? hmmmm.

I am sure they won't stop untill they get it back on. I hate it ,I hate it ,I hate it, I wish and hope we can hang on to this win and beat Peta. May be we should start another letter like the first one. I'm in for sure.

I forwarded the PETA alert to Robert Wallace, the petition's originator, and asked for his comments and actions.

You know, as bad as the jeep ad was, did it suprise anyone? Did PETA's response to jeep pulling the ad suprise anyone? Not me. The other side is organized and doing thier part to push the anti hunting sentiment on the public. And should hunters do in return? Get organized and fight for your hunting rights! The problem lies in which side will influence the people that have no exposure to hunting or outdoor life, which is the majority of americans. Signing the petition was great but lets do more to protect our rights.

If you hunt in oregon you should be a member of OHA.

i pulled this post off of another site...

This morning I was listening to talk radio on our local radio station. Unfortunately, they had a PETA representative on. Every second that I sat and listened to her, I got more and more angry! She covered every subject from how how hunting is bad, to fishing, the cattle industry, meat eaters, the chicken industry, and on and on! I tried my darndest to call in to talk to this fanatical woman, but unfortunately the phone lines were busy all morning.
There was one bright spot though, she gave out her e-mail address and I was hoping a bunch of hunters, fishermen, trapers, outdoors people, etc. could send a flood of e-mails to her mail box to let these people know that we are not just going to sit here and buy into their "garbage".

I'm pretty sure that it won't help any thing, but at least I will feel better for voicing my opinion.

Her address is DanielleM@peta.org

it is hard to listen to these people and keep a straight line of thought. i heard one woman from jacksonville being all profound about trapping and poor little wild furry things until i about choked. like always your could not get through on the phone lines. cost me alot of cell phone min.
these peta people are well orginized and have a lot of money. all sports people must stick together or we will see a slow loss of freedom
