Thanks for the info Rod. I didn't have that one marked. Wouldn't it be nice if Yaquina Bay and Depoe Bay had close up camera shots like that?

And, you are right, that thing is breaking from tip to tip!

I haven't checked it this morning but yesterday it was breaking all the way across.

Skahorse, thanks for the link, I have used that one for several years. But, what I was thinking of was one up close so you could really see what the bar was doing.

I was told the USCG may be putting in a webcam on the jetty at Yaquina. Be nice when it happens, I hope they post a link to it. I think they are doing it so they can observe the bar even when they don't have a boat stationed there.
