This isn't the same guy who injects the birds with formaldehyde is it? I hear they last good for a few years, but you don't want to drop em! I've seen a few of those and they look excellent. Just don't know how long they hold up.

Is Ted Will the same guy? Either way, give me some contact info cause $25 is a cheap mount and I might have some birds to throw his way.

When I lived down there I heard of a guy that was out on Peoria Rd that did birds for $25 a pop. Not sure if this is the same guy or not, but it sounded like a good deal then. He must do something to keep his costs down. After somedays on the river you couldn't pay me $25 to clean a bird let alone stuff it.

To all concerned : Ted has done lots of birds and does it only because he loves to do it. He is a retired professor and only covers the cost of material plus a tiny bit more to cover gas and such to go out and get logs and tree limbs to attach his mounts to. This is all part of his service and the birds can be mounted anyway you like. I have a huge mallard drake that Ted did 7 yrs. ago and it looks the same as it did the day i brought it home. No these birds are not injected.
quote:

TO LOVE WHAT YOU DO, DO SOMETHING YOU LOVE.......

Hey WOODUXS.
I'm curious but would like to know more about this guy’s work. Does he have a website or just a phone?
And can you give it out or are you just trying to make us all jealous? That’s OK if you are but how’s about sharing the wealth?
