True metal head? (PIC) Opps I did it again!!!
Met up with Spinnerman on the coast reel early this mornin for a grand ol' metal head outing.
 Here is Spinnerman's nice fish!
Here is the the first one I landed and released that absolutly ripped a large old school glo glo I dug up out of moth balls and shrimp. This fish didn't know it was dark and jumped three times and was very strong! I had another one on the cast before on a custom painted pink pearl oakie drifter and shrimp, but the fish was very erratic, jumped, and ran under the boat resulting in a loud THUNK! Opps, the steely was a true metal head bashing into the Aluminum boat hull. The fish must have grazed the leader on the chine and broke off minutes later.
After Spinnerman and I parted ways I headed to the 007 hole for redemption and found this stray on a float and jig
Thanks spinnerman for the great day!!!

Ty-
Nice work! Isn't it funny how those darker fish can treat you to a wonderful fight regardless?

Had a great day with Ty -- this guy knows how to catch steelhead! I learned a lot today and hope to learn a lot more in the future.

Re: True metal head? (PIC) Opps I did it again!!!
Left vent + adipose is a Wilson R. wild broodstock fish.
Which I believe started 4 years ago.
