Default Should I become a guide?

I tried guiding this weekend...... that is non-profit children guiding

Took a bunch of kids up to a stocked pond for some action.

Here I am about to "hook-up" one of the many eager and waiting "clients"

Here is one of my "clients" hooked up on a big pond trout:

Here is my daughter showing off her catch:

I guess I'll wait on my big guiding debut.... better keep my day job for now

Nice!

When you set the hook on that first one, how far behind you did it land? Did his eyes look like this as he went by?

Cool! Looks like all had a good time.

Check out the I'm about to hook this thing and land it on the shack behind me stance. Awesome job. I love seeing little cookie grabbers in boots.

That hook-set just about went into the trees, but instead got wrapped around one of the kids instead!!

You should have seen all the parental eyes looking at me "What are you doing trying to put out my kids eye??"

Fishing with kids = PRICELESS !!!! one big smile says it all. one day i was fishing with my son on the willie for springers, the bite started and it was our turn Fish On so i kick off and give the rod to my son we battle it to the boat and it has one to many fins so reach down and unhook it and go get set up again and about a half hour later fish on this time i tell my son to grab the rod and we kick off again, this time it has the correct amount of fins so i net it and give it a few whacks and go back up to try for another, mind you i have not had many great days springer fishing i do ok but never got into them thick.so i am thinking this is the day and i get to share it with my son.so i get the rods back out and my son tells me he is board and reminds me that i told him if it was slow i would take him bass fishing we just boated 2 springers in less than a hour and he was board so i showed the guys in the hog line the fish,so they didnt think i bonked a nate.and we picked up and went bass fishing, a promise is a promise, I still get a laugh when i think about that

And where did that kid get that rod? I've been looking all over for one of those
